About Us

Hi! My name is Renee and I'm the owner of The Reclaimed Farmhouse. I grew up in a small farming community in rural Indiana. My grandpa had a dairy operation, raised cows & pigs and grew corn & soybeans. I sold sweet corn on the side of the road out of the back of my grandpa's pick up truck in the summers to earn money to pay for college. Eating out of the garden, fishing in grandpa's pond, mushroom hunting and milking cows were a way of life - a good life and one that gives me great memories.

I now live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and high school sweetheart and our three children. We built ourselves a farmhouse reminiscent of the houses of our childhoods back in Indiana. I love everything farmhouse and have mine decked out with farmhouse decor. It brings back those good memories and that good wholesome life back in Indiana.

With the items I have curated I hope to give back sweet memories of childhood to others. Remembering grandma's old metal pitcher or her old glass milk bottles - they all bring me joy and put a smile on my face. I hope they put a smile on your face as well. It's what we need in these faster paced sometimes stress-filled days. My farmhouse feels like the happiest place on Earth and I hope I can help you make yours feel the same.
